Grant Cardone's Real Estate Firm Buys $10M in Bitcoin Amid Market Dip

Cardone Capital, the real estate investment firm run by Grant Cardone, scooped up roughly $10 million worth of Bitcoin this week, using the market slide to add 130 BTC to its balance sheet. The purchase comes as crypto prices have pulled back from recent highs, and the company — which manages $5.3 billion in assets — is betting big on the flagship cryptocurrency.

Why the timing

Cardone didn't sugarcoat the move. In a statement, he called the dip a buying opportunity, saying the firm was 'adding to our position while others are scared.' The acquisition brings Cardone Capital's total Bitcoin stash to an undisclosed number, but the firm has been publicly bullish on Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation and a store of value for its real estate portfolio.

What $10M buys

At current prices, 130 BTC is a meaningful chunk for a real estate company. Relative to Cardone Capital's $5.3 billion in assets under management, it's a small allocation — roughly 0.2%. But it signals conviction. Most institutional real estate firms still steer clear of crypto. Cardone, known for his aggressive investment style and social media presence, is going the other way.

This isn't a one-off. Cardone Capital has been buying Bitcoin for years, often during pullbacks. The firm treats BTC as part of its treasury strategy, similar to how MicroStrategy or Square handle their corporate cash. Whether other real estate players follow suit remains to be seen, but the move adds to a growing list of traditional asset managers dipping into crypto.

The $10 million purchase closed earlier this week. Cardone hasn't said if more buys are planned, but he's hinted at 'aggressive accumulation' if prices stay depressed.
