The insider information investigations

Santos, who was expelled from the U.S. House in 2023, received a permanent ban, meaning he can no longer use Kalshi's platform in any capacity. What the penalties mean
A permanent ban is Kalshi's harshest sanction, reserved for what the company considers the most serious breaches. For Santos, that closes the door on any future participation in event markets run by Kalshi. The three-year suspension for Buckhout is a temporary exclusion, but it still removes her from the platform during a period when political event contracts have grown in popularity.
