Ark Invest sold shares of Bitmine, Robinhood, Bullish, and Circle during Wednesday's pullback in crypto equities, while adding to its positions in Coinbase and Circle, according to the firm's latest trading disclosures.
Wednesday's sell list
The firm trimmed its holdings in four crypto-related names. Bitmine, a mining company, saw shares sold alongside Robinhood, the trading app that has leaned into crypto. Ark also offloaded shares of Bullish, the exchange backed by Block. And Circle, the stablecoin issuer, was on the sell list too.
Where Ark added
On the buy side, Ark increased its stake in Coinbase, the largest U.S. crypto exchange. It also bought more Circle shares — the same company it sold during the same session. That means Circle appeared on both sides of the ledger, a sign the firm may have been rebalancing or executing separate strategies across different funds.
The moves came as crypto equities broadly slid on Wednesday. Ark's daily trade reports are closely watched by investors looking for signals from Cathie Wood's firm, which runs several actively managed ETFs focused on disruptive innovation.
The trades were disclosed in Ark's daily trading report on Thursday.
