Options on U.S. equities, for non-U.S. users
The new product gives eligible customers outside the U.S. a way to trade options on a wide range of American stocks and exchange-traded funds. The options are physically settled, meaning holders can take delivery of the underlying shares when the contract expires. That's a departure from cash-settled options, which pay out in cash instead.
Binance hasn't published a full list of the underlying assets, but the company says the options cover more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs. That's a broad lineup, spanning everything from large-cap tech names to sector funds. The product is designed for international traders who want exposure to American markets without leaving the Binance platform.
U.S. traders left out
The product is not available to U.S. customers. Binance has not said why, and it hasn't announced any plans to offer the options domestically. The exclusion is consistent with how the exchange has handled other regulated products in
