Binance's website is now fully accessible across PLDT and Globe networks in the Philippines. Globe Telecom restored access in May; PLDT has now followed suit, completing coverage across the two dominant internet providers in the country. This is a visible milestone in Binance's structured return to one of Southeast Asia's most active crypto markets.
PLDT and Globe both on board
Users on both PLDT and Globe can now reach Binance.com directly. Globe's restoration came in May, but PLDT's move this week closes the gap. Together, the two ISPs cover the vast majority of Philippine internet users. The exact date of PLDT's restoration wasn't disclosed, but the effect is immediate: no more workarounds or VPNs needed for most Filipinos.
A milestone for Binance's Philippine return
The full restoration of access doesn't mean Binance is fully back in business in the Philippines — regulatory hurdles remain. But it's a clear signal the exchange is pushing ahead with its re-entry strategy. The company has been working to rebuild its presence in the market after earlier restrictions. Having both major ISPs on board removes a big barrier for users.
What comes next isn't clear. Binance hasn't announced any new partnerships or licenses. For now, the practical effect is simple: the website loads. That's a lot more than users had a few months ago.
