Binance Launches Brazil-Only Yield Product, Report Maps $654B in Offshore Dollar Flows

Binance is rolling out a Brazil-specific yield product called Binance Rende+, the company announced Thursday at Rio Innovation Week 2026. The product pays 120% of the CDI (the Brazilian interbank rate), is backed by Treasury bonds, and accepts deposits up to R$100,000. Returns accrue daily — including weekends and holidays — and users can redeem anytime. It's the exchange's first yield product designed exclusively for a single country.

Separately, BeInCrypto released a report titled 'The Exodus Economy,' which maps 12 years of dollar flows on-chain and cross-references 60 billionaire addresses against Forbes profiles. The report found that Brazilians hold US$654 billion abroad, according to central bank data, and that roughly US$63.2 billion was sent home to Mexico over the last 12 months — with crypto rails carrying about half that volume.

Binance Rende+ and the stock-trading tool

Binance Rende+ is a real-denominated product yielding 120% of the CDI. The CDI currently hovers around 13.75% annually, so the product would yield roughly 16.5% before taxes. Deposits are capped at R$100,000 (about US$18,500). The product is backed by Brazilian Treasury bonds, meaning the principal is government-guaranteed — though the yield is not.

Binance also said it will launch a tool in August 2026 that lets Brazilian users buy over 7,000 US-listed stocks directly from the Binance app. The move positions Binance as a broader financial superapp in Brazil, competing with local players like Nubank and traditional brokers.

Binance currently claims over 325 million users globally, moved over US$34 trillion in trading volume in 2025, and holds roughly US$160 billion in assets under custody. The company says it can process up to 4.4 million transactions per second and holds the largest number of regulatory licenses across jurisdictions.

The Exodus Economy: dollar flows and billionaires

BeInCrypto's 'The Exodus Economy' report, presented at the event, tracks dollar outflows from Latin America over 12 years. It found that 26.9 million Latin Americans live outside their home countries, and that remittances to Mexico via crypto are about half the size of traditional channels — roughly US$31.6 billion versus US$63.2 billion.

The report also audited 60 billionaire addresses against Forbes profiles. A notable finding: all 14 Mexican billionaires tracked still live in Mexico, suggesting the exodus of wealth is real but not uniform across the region.

The report was reviewed alongside a Latin American Finance Council that included Caio Fasanella (Nomad), Antônia Souza (Visa), Michael Rihani (Nubank), and Bruno Grossi (Banco Inter).

Stablecoins and the new financial infrastructure

A panel titled 'Money Never Sleeps Again: Stablecoins and the New Global Financial Infrastructure' featured Nelson Leite (Binance), Eduardo Abreu (Visa), and Sabrina Zaparolli (Nubank), moderated by Luís de Magalhães (BeInCrypto).

Zaparolli said that democratization of the dollar through stablecoins reduces barriers but does not eliminate risk. The comment came as the panel discussed how stablecoins are reshaping cross-border payments and savings in inflation-prone economies.

The BeInCrypto Stage returned to Pier Mauá for the fourth year at Rio Innovation Week 2026, with executives from Binance, Visa, Nubank, BNY, Crypto.com, Mercado Bitcoin, and Bitso discussing stablecoins, superapps, prediction markets, and infrastructure.

Binance Rende+ is available now for Brazilian users. The stock-trading tool is expected in August. Whether the yield product attracts the kind of volume Binance sees in its core trading business — and how regulators in Brasília view a foreign exchange offering a government bond-backed savings product — are open questions.
