Bitget Upgrades Tokenized Stock Product With Stocks 2.0, Touts $1B Volume

Bitget this week launched Stocks 2.0, an upgraded version of its tokenized stock spot product. The new offering, issued by licensed RWA platform Reality and powered by Bitget, brings deeper liquidity from global equity markets and broader use inside Bitget's margin, strategy, and yield tools. The exchange says it already processed over $1 billion in cumulative tokenized stock spot volume as of January 2026.

What Stocks 2.0 changes

The upgrade focuses on three areas: access to deeper stock market liquidity, a 1:1 economic mapping of the underlying stock, and integration into more of Bitget's products. Eligible tokenized stocks now map directly to real equity market liquidity channels. That means price slippage should be lower and fills faster than the earlier version.

The 1:1 asset mapping applies to eligible stock tokens. Users can trade them directly against USDT. Cash dividends get converted to USDT and credited automatically; stock dividends are reflected. Corporate actions like stock splits are mapped onto the token positions.

Where the tokens can be used

Bitget is also widening where these tokens work. Eligible stock tokens can now be used inside the unified account, margin systems, spot grid, futures grid, copy trading, and selected yield products. That's more than the typical buy-and-hold use case for tokenized stocks.

The first batch includes 36 stock-linked assets: Apple, Amazon, Meta, Tesla, Alphabet, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and the QQQ ETF among them. Availability depends on user jurisdiction and applicable eligibility rules.

Fees and market position

The base trading fee is 0.1%, with a maker/taker fee of 0.05% for users holding BGB. Bitget claims the lowest fees in the industry for tokenized TradFi and the highest liquidity across 150 regions. The exchange says it accounted for roughly 89% of Ondo-issued tokenized stock volume in December 2025. Stock futures alone have crossed $10 billion in cumulative volume.

Bitget serves over 125 million users and offers access to more than 2 million crypto tokens plus over 100 tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, FX, and gold.

CEO's view on tokenization

CEO Gracy Chen said that by 2030, over 10% of global financial assets could be tokenized. That's a long-term bet, but the product rollout suggests Bitget is positioning early. The upgrade doesn't change the jurisdictional restrictions — users still need to check if they're eligible.

For now, Stocks 2.0 is live for eligible users. The exchange hasn't said which regions are excluded or when the next batch of assets might be added.
