BitSafe Launches Decentralization Manager Public Beta on Canton Network

BitSafe has released the public beta of Decentralization Manager, an open-source framework for building decentralized applications on the Canton Network. The launch comes with a Canton Foundation grant of more than $1 million — 8,500,000 $CC — and follows an independent security audit by Quantstamp.

What the framework does

Decentralization Manager provides reusable infrastructure for threshold custody, governance, and audit. Until now, each team had to build these components from scratch. The framework ships with pre-built modules for token issuance, custody, multi-signature wallets, tokenized real-world assets, decentralized exchanges, lending, and structured products.

First live use case: CBTC

CBTC is the first non-native asset on Canton and the first live implementation of Decentralization Manager. It has already processed over 10 million transactions. Node operators powering CBTC earn a share of Canton fees from on-chain transactions. CBTC Attestors Nethermind, DSRV, and Finoa Consensus Services have all implemented the framework.

Palladium Labs first builder

Palladium Labs is the first announced builder using Decentralization Manager. The company is integrating it into its credit infrastructure Alpend for multi-party authorization. Akshay Sinha, Cofounder & CTO of Palladium Labs, said the framework made adoption straightforward. Joonkyo Kim, CTO of DSRV, noted that one-click contract deployment and smooth onboarding were key advantages.

The public beta is available on the Canton Foundation's GitHub. A second grant application is already underway. Viv Diwakar, Head of the Canton Foundation, said the open-source release marks a significant step for the ecosystem.
