Bitunix hosted an invitation-only after-party on the first day of TOKEN2049, October 7, at a rooftop venue overlooking Singapore's Marina Bay. The exchange says more than 300 guests attended, a mix of traders, key opinion leaders, and industry partners.
The event doubled as a product showcase. Bitunix used the party to introduce three new trading tools: Super Alert, Pre-Trade Risk Planning, and PC Ultra.
TOKEN2049 is one of the bigger stops on the crypto conference circuit, and side events like this one are where exchanges often do their real networking. Bitunix isn't the largest name in derivatives, but it says it serves over 5 million users across more than 150 countries.
The new tools, briefly
Super Alert handles price alerts. Pre-Trade Risk Planning shows trade details before an order is placed, which is less glamorous than it sounds but useful for anyone who's fat-fingered a leverage setting. PC Ultra is a desktop workspace that pulls chart analysis, trading tools, and livestream content into one screen.
None of these are radically new concepts in crypto trading. What matters is execution, and Bitunix is pitching them as part of a broader push to keep traders inside its ecosystem rather than switching between three or four browser tabs.
Mobile app gets a facelift
The exchange also updated its mobile app interface. Charts now get more screen space. Timeframes, indicators, and alerts sit in a single row instead of scattered across menus. Futures, Spot, Copy Trading, Earn, and Grid Trading are grouped under one Trade menu.
It's a small thing, but menu consolidation is the kind of change users actually notice. Cluttered navigation is a common complaint across trading apps, and Bitunix is clearly trying to address it.
Guests, entertainment, and a booth
The rooftop event featured a light show, Samba dancers, African drummers, DJ music, and lucky draws. Among the attendees were crypto influencers and educators including The House of Crypto, Coach Sagar, Coach Miranda, Pushpendra, Itsconnorkeny, and Alvaro Smart Money.
Guests were also invited to visit the Bitunix booth at TOKEN2049 to explore TradFi, CFDs, and the Bitunix Card, signaling the exchange's interest in traditional finance products alongside its crypto derivatives business.
Why the security pitch matters
Bitunix leans heavily on trust and fund security in its messaging. The exchange offers Proof of Reserves and maintains the Bitunix Care Fund. It also points to industry-first features like Fixed Risk, a TradingView-powered chart suite, indicator alerts, and cloud-synced templates.
For a derivatives exchange competing with bigger venues, Proof of Reserves isn't optional anymore. Users ask for it. Regulators do too, eventually. Bitunix is trying to get ahead of that conversation.
The next concrete step for the exchange is unclear. Bitunix hasn't said when the new tools will roll out beyond the demo stage or whether they'll be available to all users at once. Traders who want early access will have to watch the platform's announcements.
