Bitwise Asset Management is integrating its crypto model portfolios into Parrot Finance's retail investing app, the companies announced June 18. Parrot users can now tap into Bitwise's lineup of digital asset strategies through the app's algorithmic recommendation system. It's the latest push by Bitwise to bring its advisor-focused model portfolio solutions to a broader retail audience.
What Parrot users get
Parrot clients collectively hold more than $200 million on the platform, though neither company disclosed how many users will allocate to the models or how much capital could flow through them. Bitwise's model portfolio lineup includes core portfolios for broad exposure, crypto-equity strategies, thematic portfolios focused on stablecoins, tokenization, and assets beyond Bitcoin, and a risk-managed crypto asset portfolio that rotates between Bitcoin and Ether futures and U.S. Treasuries based on momentum signals.
How the partnership works
Parrot Finance describes itself as an SEC-registered registered investment adviser. Its app links brokerage accounts, offers institutional portfolios, uses an algorithmic recommendation split, and charges a subscription fee. Parrot provides both discretionary and non-discretionary advisory services, according to its Form CRS. The models are monitored and rebalanced systematically to reduce drift from target asset allocations.
Bitwise's retail push
Bitwise first launched model portfolio solutions for digital assets aimed at financial advisors in February 2025. In April, the firm announced a rollout with RFG Advisory, a traditional advisor-platform distribution play. The Parrot deal extends that reach directly to retail investors through a mobile app — a different channel than the advisor route. Bitwise is effectively building multiple distribution bridges, but Whether much capital actually moves through each.
The models are now available to Parrot users.
