BlackRock clients poured $164 million into Bitcoin this month through the asset manager's iShares Bitcoin Trust, the latest sign of institutional appetite for the largest cryptocurrency. Meanwhile, prediction market Polymarket shows a 73.5% probability that Bitcoin will hit $67,500 before July ends — a bet that now has just over a week to play out.
The $164M inflow
The purchases came via the iShares Bitcoin Trust, BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF. That's a big chunk of new money — $164 million in a single month from institutional clients. The fund has been a bellwether for traditional finance interest in crypto since its launch.
Prediction market odds
On Polymarket, traders are pricing a 73.5% chance that Bitcoin reaches $67,500 in July 2026. With only nine days left in the month, that's a high probability for a specific price target. The market has drawn steady volume, suggesting conviction behind the bet.
The timing is tight. July 31 is the deadline for the prediction market to resolve. If Bitcoin hits $67,500 by then, the "yes" side pays out. If not, the "no" side wins. The BlackRock inflow adds real demand on the buy side, but whether that's enough to push price to the target in a week is the open question. The prediction market will settle soon — and the answer will be clear.
