Bybit kicked off a 20-day stock trading campaign on Monday, putting 150,000 USDC up for grabs through a mix of first-trade rewards, daily boxes, a trading competition, and an affiliate leaderboard. The promotion, called "Full Stocks Ahead," runs from October 12 to October 31, 2026.
The timing lines up with what Bybit is pushing right now: a single account where users can trade crypto and more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs. The campaign gives existing users a reason to try the equities side of the platform without opening a separate brokerage account.
How the 150,000 USDC breaks down
The pool splits into four distinct tracks. There's a first-trade reward for users who haven't touched stocks on Bybit before. Then there's a daily reward box: trade more than $2,000 in stocks on any given day and you get a box worth up to 50 USDC.
The headline piece is the Stock Splash trading competition, which accounts for 100,000 USDC. Participants share the pool in proportion to their eligible trading volume, but no single user can take home more than 5,000 USDC. To qualify for Stock Splash, you need to trade at least $1,000 in stocks during the campaign and still be holding at least $1,000 in stocks when it ends.
The remaining 20,000 USDC is set aside for a Bybit affiliate leaderboard.
Where the multipliers kick in
Bybit is layering in a multiplier structure that rewards early participation and larger balances. Volume traded on Days 1 through 5 counts at 1.4x. That steps down to 1.3x for Days 6–10, 1.2x for Days 11–15, 1.1x for Days 16–18, and finally 1.0x for the last two days.
There's also an average holdings multiplier. If your average daily stock balance sits between $1,000 and $10,000, you get 1.1x. Between $10,000 and $100,000 earns 1.2x. Anything above $100,000 gets a 1.5x multiplier.
Those multipliers stack on top of eligible trading volume, which means the early days of the campaign are the cheapest time to build a position in the competition.
Rules, restrictions, and who's left out
Registration happens on the Full Stocks Ahead campaign page. Trading is done through the Bybit app or website. The campaign is open to main accounts only in regions where Bybit's stocks trading service is available. Pro accounts are out of luck. So are residents of Dubai, who are explicitly excluded.
Final holdings for the Stock Splash competition are measured at the close of the campaign on October 31, 2026, at 0:00 UTC. Bybit also notes that some corporate actions may be restricted at this time, and that capital is at risk — standard language for a product that involves actual equities, not just tokens.
Bybit Stocks is provided by Infra Capital Limited, the introducing broker, which is regulated by the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius. U.S. securities clearing, settlement, and custody run through Alpaca Securities LLC, a FINRA/SIPC member.
The exchange says it serves more than 80 million users and markets itself as "The New Financial Platform." That branding has always leaned on the idea of connecting crypto users to traditional finance. This campaign is a direct test of whether those users actually want to trade stocks from the same dashboard.
The clock starts now. The first multiplier window closes after October 16, and holdings snapshots for the competition are only counted at the very end.
