Centrifuge, the DeFi protocol built for tokenizing real-world assets, has integrated with Compass Labs to let users run asset looping strategies with a single click. The integration bundles 43 separate transactions into one automated action, cutting out the manual legwork that usually comes with such strategies.
What the integration does
Asset looping is a common DeFi tactic where an investor uses an asset as collateral to borrow, then reinvests the borrowed funds, repeating the cycle to amplify exposure. Normally, that means juggling multiple steps across different protocols and interfaces. With this integration, those steps are compressed into one command.
Compass Labs, which provides tooling for managing DeFi positions, now connects directly to Centrifuge's pool of tokenized assets. The 43 bundled transactions cover the full loop — from initial deposit to collateral management to repayment — so users don't have to chase each leg themselves.
Centrifuge has spent years pushing real-world assets like invoices, royalties, and mortgages onto the blockchain. But the protocol's user base has largely been institutional, and those users expect efficiency. This integration is a step toward making the platform more approachable for smaller players who don't have a team of engineers to script complex strategies.
The one-click approach also reduces the risk of mistakes. When you're manually moving funds across 43 transactions, a single misstep can break the whole loop. Automating it removes that friction.
How the loop works
Users start by selecting a Centrifuge pool that holds tokenized real-world assets. Compass Labs then handles the rest — borrowing against those assets, reinvesting, and managing the collateral ratios. The bundled transactions are executed in sequence, with each step triggering the next until the loop is complete.
Neither company has released details on which specific pools are supported or whether the feature is available to all users immediately. The integration is live, but the rollout appears to be gradual.
Centrifuge and Compass Labs haven't said whether they plan to expand the integration to more transaction types or add additional pools. For now, the focus is on getting the one-click loop working smoothly across the 43 bundled steps. Users who want to try it will need to connect their wallets through Compass Labs and navigate to the Centrifuge section.
The bigger question is whether this kind of automation becomes the standard for DeFi asset management. If it does, the days of manually tracking every transaction might be numbered.
