ChangeNOW took home the “Best Digital Assets Fintech” award at the BeInCrypto x Proof of Talk Institutional 100 Awards this week. The ceremony happened Tuesday at the Louvre Palace in Paris during Proof of Talk. The non-custodial platform beat Revolut in the “Retail to Crypto Bridge” category after blind scoring by industry experts.
Blind Scoring Process
The awards use a two-stage system where an independent Expert Council evaluates submissions without company names. Finance and crypto leaders did anonymous scoring in the first round. Only after initial reviews did the council see which firms they’d scored. This year’s setup aimed to cut bias in a field where reputations can sway opinions.
Who Was in the Running
Revolut was the only other nominee alongside ChangeNOW in the “Retail to Crypto Bridge” category. Both companies build tools to get everyday users into crypto. But ChangeNOW’s non-custodial model meant users keep control of their funds. That approach clearly resonated with the judges. The platform didn’t win every category, but this one counts.
How They Serve Users
ChangeNOW started in 2017 and now has 8 million users. It supports over 1,500 digital assets without holding user funds. The company’s B2B tools let businesses add crypto smoothly. NOWPayments handles merchant transactions. NOWNodes provides blockchain infrastructure. NOW Custody serves institutions. Business APIs tie everything into existing systems. This suite has become invisible plumbing for many platforms.
Real-World Assets Focus
The firm’s next push targets Real-World Assets. ChangeNOW plans to integrate tokenized physical assets and expand RWA listings. That’s the immediate roadmap after the award. Testing for new RWA features is already underway. The team expects full integration by late Q3 2026 at the latest. It’s not just talk this time around.
