The prediction comes as Bitcoin hovers around $63,000, well below its October 2025 peak near $128,000, after a volatile year that saw the asset swing from $84,000 to $97,000 and back down to a June low of $60,000.

The AI's bull case leans heavily on the current pro-crypto policy environment in Washington. The GENIUS Act, which would create a federal stablecoin framework, and the CLARITY Act, which would clarify SEC and CFTC jurisdiction over digital assets, are both seen as catalysts. Institutional adoption through spot ETFs, corporate treasuries, bank custody, and even sovereign interest adds to the bullish thesis, along with the post-halving supply shock.
But the model isn't all sunshine. If inflation reaccelerates, the Fed holds rates higher, ETF inflows slow, or the CLARITY Act gets delayed, Bitcoin could end the year between $90,000 and $140,000 — still a gain from current levels, but far from the $250,000 ceiling.
