Coinbase recorded a seven-day net wallet count of -14,300 for XRP, the largest single-exchange outflow among major platforms, as the token continues to trade below $1. The exchange now accounts for 47.3% of the total absolute 7-day net wallet imbalance for XRP, its highest share since July 2024. Binance and Crypto.com also saw net outflows, though at a smaller scale.
Where the outflows are hitting
Binance logged a net wallet count of -3,270 over the same period, while Crypto.com came in at -2,680. Both exchanges first moved below zero for XRP net wallets on July 18, roughly a week after Coinbase. Upbit's share of the imbalance has faded sharply — from about 40% in June to around 12% now. That's a notable shift in where XRP holders are choosing to move their tokens.
What the numbers say
Net wallet counts measure the change in the number of wallets holding a positive XRP balance on each exchange. A negative reading means more wallets are being emptied or closed than opened — often a sign that traders are pulling coins off exchanges, sometimes to self-custody. But the price hasn't rewarded that behavior. XRP barely moved in 24 hours, is down 1% over the past week, down 7% in two weeks, and down 9% in a month. Over 12 months, it's lost more than 66%.
Two views on where XRP goes next
Analysts are split on the path ahead. Crypto Patel sees further downside, suggesting a possible drop of 20-40% to an accumulation zone between $0.85 and $0.65. ChartNerd, by contrast, predicts a strong breakout toward $8, $13, and $27 if the ascending support holds, citing a repeating coiling pattern. The conflicting calls reflect a market that hasn't found direction — the token is stuck below $1, and the exchange flows aren't yet moving the needle.
For now, the key question is whether that ascending support holds. If it breaks, the bearish target zone comes into play. If it holds, ChartNerd's breakout scenario gains credibility. Either way, XRP's next move likely depends on whether the wallet outflows translate into actual accumulation or just more selling pressure.
