CT3 Prepares CT3GB Token Listing, Shifts Settlement to New Asset

CT3 has announced comprehensive preparations for the future listing of its CT3GB token, including scaling data storage infrastructure, building financial and infrastructure reserves, and preparing a tokenized economy. The token is set to become the platform's primary settlement asset, used for payments, settlements with infrastructure owners, rewards, and internal operations within the CT3 Cloud ecosystem.

CT3GB's role in the ecosystem

CT3GB won't just be another token on the exchange. It's designed as the backbone of CT3's internal economy. The company says the token's value will be driven by both market demand and its practical utility in day-to-day operations of CT3 Cloud services. That means every payment, every reward, and every settlement with infrastructure owners will run through CT3GB once it's live.

New storage architecture

CT3 is transitioning to a new data storage architecture built on specialized smart contracts. Each product will have its own contracts and independent capacity limits, a shift that should make the platform more efficient to scale. The segmentation also gives CT3 flexibility to develop new services without touching existing products, and it improves transparency around how capacity is used.

The company has also implemented automatic backup technology, which it says has already led to a substantial increase in demand for its storage services. That's part of the broader push to prove the platform can handle continuous data storage scenarios.

The audit before listing

Before CT3GB goes live, CT3 will run an independent audit of its entire core smart contract infrastructure. The audit will focus on security, compliance with industry standards, and whether the contracts actually do what they're supposed to. CT3 calls it essential for building trust among users, partners, and the cryptocurrency exchanges that will list the token.

The timing makes sense. Most of CT3's internal operations currently run on Polygon, but after the CT3GB launch, all major financial processes will shift to the new token. That's a big change, and the audit is meant to catch problems before real money moves.

Scaling up for launch

CT3 is also expanding its data storage network and increasing available computing capacity. The goal is to have enough headroom to support growth after the listing without degrading performance. The company describes this as part of a long-term strategy to build a fully autonomous data storage infrastructure with its own economic model.

The next concrete step is the audit. Once that's done and the results are clean, CT3GB can move toward public listing. Until then, the platform keeps building out its reserves and capacity.
