Enzo Fernandez Agrees Personal Terms With Real Madrid, Holds BingX Crypto Deal

Enzo Fernandez has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, multiple sources confirmed Saturday. The Chelsea midfielder’s switch to the Bernabéu is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks. Separately, Fernandez holds an ambassador deal with BingX, a cryptocurrency platform — a pairing that underscores the growing overlap between elite football and digital assets.

The football side of the deal

Fernandez, 25, has been at Chelsea since January 2023 after a big-money move from Benfica. Now he’s set for Madrid. Personal terms are done; the clubs still need to negotiate a fee. That part isn’t expected to be a sticking point. Chelsea has been trimming its squad, and Real Madrid sees Fernandez as a long-term piece in midfield.

The crypto tie-in

BingX, a Singapore-based crypto exchange, named Fernandez a global ambassador earlier this year. The deal is one of several linking top footballers to crypto brands — think Cristiano Ronaldo with Binance, or Neymar with various token projects. BingX hasn’t disclosed the value of Fernandez’s deal, but it’s part of a broader push: the exchange sponsors esports teams, too.

Real Madrid itself has dipped into the crypto space, launching fan tokens and a partnership with Binance. Fernandez arriving with an active crypto ambassador deal means more exposure for BingX among Madrid’s global fanbase. The club didn’t comment on whether the deal will affect any sponsorship arrangements. But the timing isn’t accidental — a high-profile transfer gives the exchange a fresh hook.

BingX has been expanding its sports roster. Earlier this year it signed an ambassador deal with Argentine footballer Paulo Dybala. Fernandez is the biggest name yet. The platform is betting that association with a Champions League regular will drive user sign-ups and trading volume.

What’s next: the fee structure between Chelsea and Real Madrid is the only missing piece. Once that’s settled, Fernandez will be presented as a Madrid player — and BingX will likely roll out a promotional campaign timed to the announcement.
