Ethereum ETFs pulled in $103.9 million for the week ending July 24, the most among any spot crypto ETF category and the third consecutive positive week for ETH funds. The steady demand — $84 million, $105 million, then $103.9 million over the past three weeks — contrasts sharply with Bitcoin ETFs, which saw their weekly inflows shrink from $197 million to $75.6 million to $33.79 million over the same stretch.
Bitcoin ETFs hit a rough patch
Bitcoin ETFs had two ugly daily prints: -$225 million on July 23 and -$240 million on July 24. Weekly trading volume dropped to about $8 billion, the lowest since mid-April 2025. The slowdown is notable — BTC funds were the dominant draw just a month ago. Now the momentum has clearly shifted.
Ethereum still positive despite a single outflow day
Even with a $70.6 million outflow on July 24, Ethereum ETFs ended the week in the green and topped all crypto ETF categories by weekly totals. The net weekly figure stayed positive, and the three-week trend shows consistent demand rather than a one-off spike. That's not something you can say about Bitcoin right now.
Other altcoins see modest gains — except Hyperliquid
XRP ETFs attracted $8 million in inflows, their best week in three. Solana ETFs drew $7 million, a nine-week high. Chainlink ETFs took in $3 million, its strongest week since June. Even Dogecoin ETFs saw a fractional inflow, breaking a five-week dry spell.
Hyperliquid ETFs went the other way, shedding $8.6 million in a second straight weekly outflow. Assets are down about 18% from a July 10 peak, and weekly volume dropped to roughly $62.7 million — the lowest since the fund launched in May.
The divergence between Ethereum and Bitcoin ETF flows is now three weeks old. With BTC volume hitting its lowest level in over a year and two consecutive outflow days, the question is whether the trend deepens or reverses. Ethereum's numbers, meanwhile, look steady — but the $70.6 million outflow on July 24 is a reminder that even the leader can trip. Next week's data will tell us if that was a blip or the start of a turn.
