Ethereum's validator exit queue has hit zero. At the same time, 2.48 million ETH are lined up to enter staking. The combination signals strong holder conviction and reduced selling pressure, on-chain data shows.
Exit queue at zero
The validator exit queue — the line of validators waiting to leave the staking contract — is now empty. No validators are currently in the process of exiting. That's a sharp contrast from periods of high exit activity, which often coincide with market uncertainty or lower staking yields.
2.48 million ETH waiting to stake
On the flip side, the entry queue holds 2.48 million ETH, representing validators waiting to activate. That's a significant backlog, suggesting demand to stake remains high despite current market conditions. The large entry queue also implies that holders are locking up their ETH for the long term, reducing the circulating supply.
With no validators exiting and a large number waiting to enter, the net flow of ETH into staking is strongly positive. This reduces the amount of ETH available for sale on exchanges, directly lowering selling pressure. The data points to a holder base confident enough to commit their assets for the long haul.
