Evernorth Closes Armada SPAC Deal, XRPN Set for Nasdaq Debut With $1B XRP Treasury

Evernorth's business combination with Armada Acquisition Corp. II closed on October 9, a day later than planned. The delay came from an administrative issue tied to the closing process. Evernorth, which will trade under the ticker XRPN, is set to debut on the Nasdaq, with the listing expected today, subject to customary conditions and Nasdaq requirements.

Inside the treasury

Evernorth is coming to market with a reported 473 million XRP treasury and roughly $300 million in gross cash proceeds. The company says it intends to actively deploy that capital across XRP ecosystem strategies — institutional yield and on-chain credit among them. It's a publicly traded wrapper around an XRP position, not a fund, and the pitch leans on putting the balance sheet to work rather than letting it sit.

A rough week for XRP

The timing isn't great. XRP trades at $1.41 and has fallen more than 6% over the week, retreating roughly 7% from September highs near $1.60–$1.65. The 20-day EMA sits around $1.45, above spot, while the 200-day EMA is near $1.37 — a line the token is hovering uncomfortably close to. Support is clustered at $1.30–$1.34, with $1.26 as a deeper invalidation area if that shelf gives out. Immediate resistance is at $1.42, and a stronger recovery band sits at $1.50–$1.56. A debut into a market that's still bleeding is not the setup any treasury company would choose, but the deal is done and the shares are what they are.

What Evernorth is actually selling

The structure matters more than the ticker. Evernorth isn't a miner or an exchange. It's a holding company whose asset is XRP, and its stated plan is to make that asset productive through institutional yield and on-chain credit strategies. That puts it in a small peer group of listed vehicles built around a single token. The $300 million in gross cash gives it room to operate, but it also means the equity trades as a levered proxy on XRP — when the token moves, XRPN will move harder. Anyone who watched similar vehicles trade knows the NAV gap can swing both ways.

The meme-token sideshow

Elsewhere in the market, Maxi Doge ($MAXI) is running a presale priced at $0.0002843 with $4.8 million raised so far. The Ethereum ERC-20 token offers 60% APY staking rewards, holder-only trading competitions with leaderboard rewards, and a Maxi Fund treasury earmarked for liquidity and partnerships. That's a different corner of the market entirely — no institutional wrapper, no Nasdaq listing, just a presale and a yield number. The two stories sit on opposite ends of the risk spectrum.

All eyes are on whether XRPN actually prints a Nasdaq tape today. The listing is subject to customary conditions and Nasdaq requirements, so the debut could still slip. Beyond that, the first real signal will be what Evernorth does with the $300 million — the company has said it will deploy capital into XRP ecosystem strategies, but hasn't put a timeline on it. For now, the trade is simple: XRP needs to hold the $1.30–$1.34 support cluster if the new equity is going to get any kind of tailwind on day one.
