Martin Masser, a former executive at the TON Foundation, has landed at ChangeNOW as Director of Strategic Partnerships. The hire, announced August 5, comes as the company pivots from a standalone instant exchange toward a so-called super app — one product that handles buying, storing, swapping, trading, sending, receiving, and growing digital assets. Masser's job is to build the partnerships and media momentum that make that vision stick.
From TON to ChangeNOW
Masser spent his most recent role as Head of Growth at the TON Foundation, the organization behind the Telegram-linked blockchain. Before that he worked across traditional banking, Web2, and Web3. At ChangeNOW he'll focus on strategic partnerships, ecosystem relationships, and media momentum for the company's next phase. The move signals that ChangeNOW wants someone who can bridge the gap between old-school finance and the crypto-native world.
The super app vision
ChangeNOW has been around since 2017, starting as a simple instant exchange. Today it serves millions of clients. But the company thinks the market is tired of juggling multiple platforms. The super app aims to simplify the user experience by pushing complexity behind the scenes. Instead of switching between a wallet, an exchange, and a staking service, users get one interface. Masser's focus is on building relationships that make that infrastructure more complete and remove unnecessary steps from the client experience.
What Masser brings
Masser's background in both Web2 and Web3 gives him a broad view of what partnerships actually move the needle. He's not just looking for logos — he wants integrations that make ChangeNOW's product stickier. The company declined to name specific partners in the announcement, but Masser's first task will be lining up the deals that turn the super app from a concept into something people actually use every day.
