The crypto market faces a deluge of unlocked tokens in the final week of June, with projects set to release over $735 million worth of supply between Monday and Saturday. Three of the biggest unlocks — from Humanity (H), MegaETH (MEGA), and Sahara AI (SAHARA) — account for the bulk of that sum, each arriving at a moment of heightened sensitivity for their respective tokens.
The biggest unlocks
Humanity unlocks 266.47 million H tokens on June 25, worth roughly $54.77 million. That represents 9.41% of the token's released supply. The allocation spreads across the ecosystem fund, identity verification rewards, foundation operations, early contributors, investors, and the Human Institute Strategic Reserve. Humanity, a decentralized identity protocol that uses biometric palm recognition and zero-knowledge proofs, is still recovering from an exploit that caused losses over $30 million. The token plunged, partially recovered, then resumed a downtrend under macroeconomic pressure. This unlock won't help sentiment.
MegaETH's milestone
On June 23, MegaETH unlocks 250 million MEGA tokens worth about $13.54 million — a massive 32.8% of its released supply. The entire unlock goes to the Mainnet Campaign (Terminal). MegaETH is an Ethereum Layer 2 network that claims to produce mini-blocks every 10 milliseconds, targeting over 100,000 transactions per second. This is the first big test for MEGA's supply dynamics since launch. The timing isn't great: the broader market has been choppy, and a sudden 32.8% supply increase could add downward pressure.
Sahara AI's tough month
Sahara AI unlocks 1.03 billion SAHARA tokens on June 26, worth about $14.75 million — 30.10% of its released supply. The bulk goes to early backers (534.9 million) and the core team/contributors (406.25 million), with smaller slices for ecosystem development and community incentives. Sahara AI, a full-stack AI-native blockchain platform, already saw its token drop over 50% earlier this month thanks to a 'futures-led liquidation cascade'. Another 30% supply unlock so soon after that rout raises questions about whether the token can find a floor.
The rest of the pack
Other notable unlocks this week include Plasma (XPL), Soon (SOON), and Newton Protocol (NEWT). Combined with the three big unlocks, the total tops $735 million. That's a lot of sell-side pressure in a market that's already shown it can turn on a dime.
The unlock wave begins Monday, June 23, with MegaETH's 250 million MEGA. Traders will be watching order books and on-chain flows closely to see how much of that supply actually hits the market.
