KuCoin has been nominated for Best Trading Infrastructure at the BeInCrypto Institutional 100 Awards 2026, the first major industry recognition this year for the exchange's expanding suite of institutional tools. The nomination reflects a push by KuCoin to serve brokers, fintech platforms, market makers, and asset managers — a base it says now exceeds 1,000 global partners.
What the nomination covers
The award category looks at trading architecture, and KuCoin's bid rests on several products. Its Unified Trading Account lets clients manage spot, margin, and futures positions from a single interface. The Off-Exchange Settlement framework, already live with custodians including BitGo Singapore Go Network, Cactus Custody, and Ceffu MirrorX, allows institutions to trade while keeping assets with a qualified custodian — a setup regulators have started demanding.
KuCoin also has more than 200 active institutional API integrations and feeds market data into TradingView, where professional traders can run Pine Script strategies and set alerts on KuCoin Futures data.
Tokenized real-world assets as collateral
One differentiator is the RWA Collateral Mirroring Solution (RCMS), which lets institutions use tokenized real-world assets as trading collateral without moving the underlying asset out of a regulated structure. The solution already supports UBS uMINT and Asseto CASH+ — two tokenized products from traditional finance. That sort of integration is still rare in crypto exchange infrastructure.
'Trust First. Trade Next.'
KuCoin CEO BC Wong said in a statement that trading infrastructure “must be measured by trust, transparency, resilience, and accountability.” The company's stated philosophy is “Trust First. Trade Next.” Whether that phrasing resonates with judges at the BeInCrypto Institutional 100 Awards will be clear when winners are announced. The nomination alone signals that KuCoin's institutional push — built on off-exchange settlement and RWA-backed collateral — is being noticed beyond its core retail user base.
The awards come at a time when exchange infrastructure is under increasing scrutiny from regulators and institutional clients alike. KuCoin's off-exchange settlement and RCMS tools are two concrete answers to that pressure.
