LBank Launches Crypto Resilience Initiative to Harden Platform Security

LBank has launched the Crypto Resilience Initiative, a security program designed to harden the exchange against a threat landscape that now includes cross-chain exploits, smart contract vulnerabilities and AI-assisted attack techniques. The effort builds on LBank's existing security collaboration with CertiK, the New York-based Web3 security firm, and extends it into a broader platform-wide framework. The program is live now, the exchange said.

What the initiative targets

The program is aimed at the kinds of attacks that have been giving exchanges trouble this year. Cross-chain exploits, which move funds across bridges and chains, are a growing problem. Smart contract flaws remain a steady source of losses. And AI-assisted attacks are new enough that most security teams are still catching up.

LBank is positioning the initiative as a response to that shift. The idea is to treat security as a continuous process rather than a one-time audit, with defenses that adapt as the threat picture changes.

The security stack

LBank's framework runs on several layers. Cold wallet custody keeps the bulk of funds offline. Multi-signature authorization means no single key can move assets. Behavioral analytics and AI-assisted risk detection watch for unusual activity, and continuous monitoring ties it all together.

It's a layered setup, and the exchange is betting that depth matters more than any single control. No one layer is the whole story.

The CertiK connection

CertiK is the largest Web3 security provider, founded in 2017 and headquartered in New York. The firm says it has detected more than 119,000 vulnerabilities and protected over $600 billion in digital assets across 150-plus countries and regions. It operates under SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 standards.

LBank's work with CertiK includes penetration testing services and participation in CertiK's Bug Bounty program. The new initiative extends that relationship into a broader security posture.

LBank's track record

LBank was founded in 2015 and now serves more than 25 million registered users in 160 countries. Daily trading volume exceeds $23.81 billion. The exchange claims 10 years of safety with zero security incidents, and it has listed over 300 mainstream coins and more than 50 high-potential gems. It ranks No. 1 in 100x Gems, Highest Gains and Meme Share.

The initiative is live now, and LBank is framing it as a permanent layer of its operations rather than a one-off response. With attackers getting more creative, the exchange is betting that staying ahead of them is the only real defense.
