LBank rolled out LBank Predict on June 8, 2026, a prediction market platform built directly into its derivatives trading system. The exchange says it's the first to deeply integrate event forecasting with structured derivatives, letting users trade on outcomes for macroeconomics, geopolitics, AI, sports, and crypto narratives without needing a separate wallet or paying gas fees.
Prediction Futures and Fast Futures
The platform offers two product lines. Prediction Futures cover longer-term events across five categories and support up to 5x leverage with isolated margin. Fast Futures are short-cycle bets on Bitcoin and Ethereum price direction, with windows of 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, and 4 hours. Both types settle inside LBank's native futures account, so users don't have to move funds between systems.
No gas fees, no cross-chain hassle
Traditional prediction platforms like Polymarket require decentralized wallets, cross-chain transfers, and gas fees. LBank Predict bypasses all that by operating within the exchange's existing account infrastructure. Users can trade using USDT or eligible futures bonuses — another first, according to LBank. The exchange handles custody and settlement internally, which means faster execution and fewer friction points for the roughly 20 million registered users across 160 countries.
Statement from Eric He
Eric He, LBank's Community Angel Officer and Risk Control Adviser, said the launch reflects the exchange's effort to merge entertainment with structured finance. “We wanted to lower the barrier for users who are curious about event-based trading but don't want to deal with the technical hurdles of DeFi,” He noted. The platform uses LBank's existing risk management system to handle leverage and margin calls.
A decade of zero incidents
LBank was founded in 2015 and claims a decade of safe operations with zero security breaches. The exchange lists over 300 mainstream coins and more than 50 so-called high-potential gems. It also ranks No. 1 in categories like 100x Gems, Highest Gains, and Meme Share, per data from third-party trackers. Daily trading volume sits above $10.5 billion.
With LBank Predict live, the exchange is betting that users will prefer a walled-garden approach to event markets over the decentralized alternatives. Whether that bet pays off depends on how many traders actually want to bet on geopolitics next to their perpetuals.
