Lido DAO Approves Core Upgrade With Zero Veto Votes

Lido DAO has approved its Core Upgrade, sending the Community Staking Module (CSM) v3 and the Curated Module v2 to mainnet. The governance vote passed with zero vetoes, meaning no delegate used their veto power to block the proposal.

What the Upgrade Includes

The Core Upgrade brings two major components live. CSM v3 is the latest version of the Community Staking Module, which allows smaller stakers to participate in Ethereum validation. The Curated Module v2 is the updated version of Lido's original curated staking pool. Both modules went through audits and testnet phases before the vote.

The Path to Approval

Lido DAO's governance process required a vote on the upgrade. The final tally showed zero vetoes, a strong signal of community alignment. The upgrade had already passed earlier stages, including technical reviews and a testnet deployment, before reaching the mainnet vote.

The modules are now live on Ethereum mainnet. Lido DAO continues to operate as the largest liquid staking protocol by total value locked.
