OSL HK Adds XRP for Retail Trading as Bitcoin Hyper Presale Tops $33M

OSL HK, Hong Kong's first licensed retail crypto exchange, now allows retail trading of XRP against USD on its Flash Trade platform. XRP joins Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana as approved cryptocurrencies for retail users. The move comes as Hong Kong's regulatory framework continues to support compliant digital asset trading, potentially drawing more institutional and retail participation.

XRP joins the retail lineup

Retail traders on OSL HK can now buy and sell XRP directly against USD through the exchange's Flash Trade interface. OTC trading is also available via XRP/USD and XRP/HKD pairs. The addition broadens the exchange's retail offering beyond the three previously approved tokens, giving Hong Kong users another regulated avenue to trade the digital asset.

Hong Kong's regulatory approach

The city's licensing regime for virtual asset trading platforms has been gradually expanding. OSL HK obtained its retail license earlier this year, and the addition of XRP signals that the regulator is open to approving more tokens for retail access as long as they meet compliance standards. The framework is designed to attract both retail and institutional players who want a regulated environment.

Bitcoin Hyper presale momentum

Separately, the Bitcoin Hyper presale has raised nearly $33 million at a token price of $0.0136838, with high-APY staking available. The project is positioned as the first Bitcoin Layer 2 with full Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) integration, aiming to bring Solana-compatible smart contracts to Bitcoin's security. The presale is ongoing, and the team has not announced a closing date.

For OSL HK, the XRP listing is effective immediately. The exchange has not indicated which token might be added next, but the pace of approvals suggests more could follow as Hong Kong cements its role as a regulated crypto hub.
