Pi Network Slides 30% in Month as Token Unlocks, Weak Demand Weigh

Pi Network price hovered near $0.08295 after gaining 1% in the last 24 hours, but the token remains 30% lower over the past month. Weak demand and ongoing token unlocks have kept sellers in control, even as the wider crypto market added 1.24% to reach $2.18 trillion. Bitcoin held above $63,000 during the same period.

Token unlocks add to selling pressure

The 30% monthly decline comes as scheduled token unlocks continue to release supply into the market. Pi Network's unlock schedule has been a known headwind for months, but the pace of distribution has accelerated recently. With buyers unwilling to step in at current levels, each unlock event has pushed the price lower. The 1% uptick in the last day looks more like a pause than a reversal.

Market rally bypasses Pi

While Bitcoin and the broader market have found support from regulatory progress and institutional moves, Pi Network has been left out. The token's price action is disconnected from the macro trend — a sign that its problems are internal. The wider crypto market's 1.24% gain this week barely registered on Pi's chart. For a token that once traded above $0.12, the current level represents a steep discount.

The next few weeks will test whether Pi Network can find a floor. Token unlocks aren't going away, and demand hasn't shown signs of picking up. If the broader market continues to grind higher, some of that momentum could eventually spill over. But for now, the token's fate rests on whether holders are willing to keep selling into weakness — or if buyers finally step in. That question remains unanswered.
