Ripple Launches Mint Platform, Invests in Notabene as XRP Ledger Hits 1M+ AI Transactions

Ripple has launched Ripple Mint, a new platform that gives institutional customers a single point to mint, redeem, bridge, and manage RLUSD stablecoin. The move, announced July 23, 2025, comes alongside a strategic investment in compliance provider Notabene and fresh data showing the XRP Ledger processed over 1.4 million AI-agent-initiated transactions in a single day.

Ripple Mint: One-stop shop for RLUSD

Ripple Mint is designed to simplify stablecoin operations for institutions. Instead of juggling multiple interfaces for minting and redeeming RLUSD, customers can now handle everything from one dashboard. The platform also supports bridging RLUSD across different networks, making it easier to move liquidity where it's needed.

The launch follows Ripple's earlier rollout of RLUSD and signals the company's push to make its stablecoin a core part of institutional crypto finance. Ripple hasn't disclosed how many clients have signed up for Mint so far, but the product is live as of this week.

Notabene investment deepens compliance ties

Ripple also announced a strategic investment in Notabene, a firm that builds compliance infrastructure for crypto transactions. The plan is to integrate RLUSD into Notabene Flow, a platform that already connects over 2,300 institutions across more than 100 jurisdictions and processes roughly $2 trillion in annualized transaction volume.

That integration means RLUSD transactions could automatically comply with travel rule and other regulatory requirements in those jurisdictions. For Ripple, it's a way to make RLUSD more attractive to banks and financial firms that need to meet strict compliance standards.

XRP Ledger sees AI-agent transaction boom

On July 22, the XRP Ledger recorded more than 1.4 million transactions initiated by AI agents. The activity involved 129 participating merchants. The spike suggests growing use of the ledger for automated, machine-driven payments — a use case Ripple has been pushing for years.

The number of AI-agent transactions on XRPL has been climbing steadily, but this is the first time it's crossed the million mark in a single day. Ripple hasn't specified what kind of agents or merchants were involved, but the data points to real-world adoption beyond human users.

Binance dangles up to 22.25% returns for RLUSD holders

Binance has introduced new incentives for users holding RLUSD. Eligible holdings can earn a variable return of up to 22.25%, and users who put RLUSD into Binance Earn and Margin products get weekly rewards paid in XRP.

The offer is part of Binance's push to attract stablecoin liquidity. The 22.25% figure is notably high for a stablecoin yield, though it's variable and likely tied to promotional conditions. Binance didn't say how long the promotion will run.

XRP price holds near $1.10 after weekly high

XRP traded around $1.10 after approaching $1.16 earlier in the week. The token remains in a broad descending channel, with resistance at $1.18 and support at $1.02 to $1.04. The price action comes amid a flurry of Ripple-related announcements, but the broader market trend has kept XRP from breaking out.

For now, traders are watching whether the RLUSD ecosystem expansion and AI transaction growth can push XRP above the $1.18 resistance level. If not, the next test could be the support zone near $1.02.
