RISEx, a perpetuals decentralized exchange built on the RISE Chain, has officially launched its Ignite Season 1 points program. The program went live on July 20, 2026, at 00:00 UTC, with the first weekly distribution of 200,000 points scheduled for July 28 at 14:00 UTC.
Backed by Major Names
The exchange is backed by Galaxy Ventures and Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. It operates on the RISE Chain, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 boasting 5 Ggas/s throughput and 1ms latency. During an invite-only beta phase, RISEx generated over $3 billion in cumulative trading volume, more than $26 million in open interest, and over $15 million in total value locked (TVL). The beta also registered 15,000 users.
How Points Are Earned
All RISE points are allocated to RISEx users, including traders, liquidity providers, and builder code integrators. Points are earned through a multi-layered system that considers trading volume, open interest and hold time, total costs (fees, slippage, and negative markouts), and general activity. The exact weighting methodology is not disclosed to prevent gaming. Referrers earn an additional 10% of their referee's points.
An affiliate program offers fee rebates and point boosts for qualified users, though specific tiers and requirements have not been published.
Why the Launch Was Delayed
CEO Sam Battenally said the program was delayed until the core exchange engine achieved stability. The team wanted to avoid launching incentives before the platform could handle the load. The beta phase proved the engine could sustain high throughput, paving the way for the points program.
What Comes Next
Ignite Season 1 is expected to end no later than Q2 2027. Weekly distributions will continue until then, with no specific end date announced. The team has not disclosed whether future seasons will follow or if the points will convert to a token.
