Sleepagotchi Launches AI Sleep Coach MVP With New CEO and $100K Beta Revenue

Sleepagotchi, the sleep-tracking app built on Telegram, has launched the first product in its planned AI wellness ecosystem: an AI Sleep Coach. The company also announced a leadership change, with Kenny Wood taking over as CEO while founding CEO Anton Kraminkin moves into a strategic advisory role. The launch comes on the heels of a three-week beta that generated more than $100,000 in revenue from the app's 2 million all-time Telegram Lite users.

New CEO and growth partners

Kenny Wood steps into the CEO position as Sleepagotchi pivots from a consumer sleep gamification app toward a broader AI-driven wellness platform. Kraminkin, who founded the company, will remain as a strategic advisor. The company also added Shalini Wood and Aditya Julka as growth partners to help scale the product.

The AI Sleep Coach and early traction

The AI Sleep Coach uses data from integrations with Whoop, Oura, and Apple Watch to give users personalized feedback and guidance on their sleep patterns. The feature is live now. During the beta, Sleepagotchi saw strong engagement: 78% of users open the app within 10 minutes of waking up. That kind of morning habit, the company hopes, will drive recurring use of the AI coach and future agents.

Sleepagotchi plans to roll out additional AI agents covering wellness coaching, meal planning, and shopping support. Those are still in development.

Funding and the $SLEEP token

Investors have backed the vision with $6.5 million across funding rounds. The list includes Sfermion, Inception, 6th Man Ventures, Collab+Currency, 1kx, Alliance, GSR, and Everyrealm. The company's native token, $SLEEP, is designed to support AI credits, subscription benefits, staked user levels, gamified rewards, marketplace access, and partner campaigns. The company also envisions future permissioned data use cases tied to the token.

With the AI Sleep Coach now live, Sleepagotchi is focused on expanding its user base beyond the Telegram Lite cohort and building out the next generation of AI agents. The meal planning and shopping support agents don't have a release date yet, but the company says they are in the pipeline. Whether the $100K beta revenue repeats at scale will depend on how many of those 2 million users convert to paid AI coaching.
