Solana Summit Serbia is set for August 26-27 at Sava Centar in Belgrade. Organizer Superteam Balkan expects over 1,000 attendees, more than 50 speakers, and roughly 50 participating companies. The event is free and open to anyone who registers through the official website.
Why Belgrade is the host city
Superteam Balkan is Solana's official chapter for the region, active across 11 countries. It has distributed over $500,000 in non-equity grants and helped regional startups raise more than $10 million. The chapter now counts over 2,000 members across the Balkans.
Marko Djurdjevic, co-founder and CEO of Superteam Balkan, said Belgrade is becoming a key regional hub for fintech and AI startups building on Solana. The city's growing tech scene and regulatory progress make it a natural fit for the summit.
Who's on the speaker list
Confirmed speakers and guests include Microsoft, Raiffeisen Bank, a16z, Chainalysis, ChainSecurity, Electrocoin, ECD.rs, Monri Payments, the Solana Foundation, Solflare, Kamino, Jito, Arcium, Streamflow, and BlastCtrl. In total, more than 50 speakers are scheduled.
Topics will cover Serbia's Capital Markets Development Strategy, digital assets regulation, payments infrastructure, security, compliance, venture capital, and deeper Solana ecosystem discussions. The agenda includes keynotes, panel discussions, an expo zone, workshops, and a startup pitch competition.
What Solana brings to the table
Solana processes over $2 trillion in quarterly stablecoin transfers and handles $300 million in monthly payments volume. Those numbers underscore the network's role in real-world finance, something the summit will explore in depth.
For startups and developers in the region, the event offers a chance to connect with investors, regulators, and technical teams. The pitch competition, in particular, could open doors for early-stage projects.
How to attend
Registration is free and available at solanasummit.rs. The event runs from August 26-27 at Sava Centar in Belgrade. No tickets are required beyond the online sign-up.
With the Balkan tech scene gaining momentum, the summit arrives at a time when both regulators and builders are looking for common ground. The question now is how many of the attending startups will turn their pitches into funded ventures.
