Solstice Finance Launches Tokenized STRC Preferred Stock, Expands USX to Zebec Payroll

Solstice Finance has launched a Solana-based product that splits the dividend income and price risk of Strategy's STRC preferred stock into separate senior and junior tokens. The company is also extending its USX dollar product into Zebec Network's payroll platform.

How the Tokenized STRC Product Works

The new product takes a single preferred stock position and breaks it into two distinct token classes. Senior tokens and junior tokens each carry a different piece of the investment's economics, separating the steady dividend stream from the price swings of the underlying STRC shares.

Built on Solana, the offering gives investors a way to choose which part of the preferred stock they want to hold. Someone looking for income might favor the senior token, while someone willing to take on more price risk could opt for the junior token. The exact mechanics of how the two tokens interact are not fully disclosed, but the structure is designed to unbundle the two components.

This is not the first time Solstice Finance has worked with tokenized assets, but it marks a notable step in bringing traditional preferred stock into a DeFi format. The product is now live on Solana, according to the company.

USX Moves Into Payroll

Separately, Solstice Finance is extending its USX dollar product into Zebec Network's payroll platform. USX is a dollar-pegged token, and the integration will make it available within Zebec's payroll infrastructure.

The move suggests Solstice is looking beyond trading and lending, pushing its stablecoin into real-world payment flows. Zebec Network focuses on payroll and streaming payments, so adding USX could give users a way to receive wages or manage payroll in a dollar-backed token.

Details on the rollout timeline or which specific payroll features will support USX have not been announced. The extension is described as ongoing, with no launch date given.

Both developments come as Solstice Finance continues to build out its presence on Solana. The tokenized STRC product is already available, while the USX integration with Zebec is still in progress.
