Aster and World Liberty Financial have opened the first phase of their USD1 RWA Boost campaign, a rewards program that doles out 125 million WLFI tokens and 6.25 million USD1 to traders on eligible USD1 pairs. The campaign runs from August 31 through December 31, 2026.
How the rewards are split
Traders earn Trading Points based on taker volume on eligible USD1 pairs, and those points determine their share of the USD1 reward pool. Open Interest Points, meanwhile, are earned by holding eligible positions and decide the split of the WLFI pool. Rewards are calculated across weekly epochs and distributed the following week.
The 2x boost for single-asset traders
Traders using Single Asset Mode with USD1 as collateral get a 2x boost on their OI Points. That's a meaningful edge for anyone running a tighter book, and it's the kind of incentive that tends to pull liquidity toward the listed pairs.
AOS-2 and the listing framework
Separately, Aster's AOS-2 framework is the standardized onchain process for getting a perpetual listed. Applicants stake 1 million ASTER, locked for four years with no early exit. If the proposal passes, the perpetual can go live as early as T+1. If it's rejected, the stake comes back in full.
The campaign runs through the end of the year, with weekly epochs resetting and rewards distributed the following week. The first epoch is already underway, and the next distribution window closes at the end of this week. Whether the program gets extended beyond December 31 isn't stated, but the structure leaves room for that.
