Standard Chartered Predicts LINK Could Hit $200 by 2030

Standard Chartered has issued a bold forecast for LINK, the token behind the industry's largest oracle services provider. The bank predicts LINK could reach $200 by the end of 2030, a 25-fold jump from where it trades today. The driver, according to the bank, is the growing real world asset (RWA) market, which is pushing up demand for oracle services.

The size of the bet

A 25-fold increase is not a modest call. It implies LINK would need to sustain years of growth, far outpacing the broader crypto market's historical averages. The bank's timeline stretches to 2030, giving the token more than six years to climb. That's a long runway, but the forecast still stands out in a sector where even double-digit gains get attention.

Standard Chartered didn't break down the exact price path. Instead, it tied the projection to a single, powerful trend: the tokenization of real world assets. As more traditional assets move onto blockchains, the infrastructure that connects those chains to real-world data becomes critical. That's where oracles come in.

Why oracles are in demand

Oracles are the middlemen of the blockchain world. They feed off-chain data—prices, weather, interest rates—into smart contracts. Without them, a tokenized bond or a property deed can't react to real-world events. The RWA market is still young, but it's growing, and every new asset class brings a fresh need for reliable data feeds.

LINK is the largest provider of these services. That position gives it a natural advantage as the RWA market expands. The bank's logic is straightforward: more tokenized assets mean more demand for oracles, and the biggest oracle provider should capture a large share of that growth.

A long road to $200

The forecast is a projection, not a guarantee. Crypto prices are notoriously volatile, and LINK's path to $200 could be interrupted by regulatory shifts, competition, or a slowdown in RWA adoption. The bank's call is a bet on the sector's trajectory, not a promise of returns.

For now, the market will watch how quickly the RWA space matures. Standard Chartered's prediction sets a high bar. Whether LINK can hold its lead in oracles will determine if it gets there.
