Strive bought another 147 Bitcoin between August 3 and August 7, pushing its corporate treasury to 20,167 BTC. The asset manager paid an average of roughly $64,812 per coin for the latest purchase, according to figures the firm released this week.
The purchase
The five-day buying spree is the company's most recent addition to a stack it has been building steadily through 2026. At the stated average price, the latest tranche cost Strive somewhere in the neighborhood of $9.5 million.
Strive now holds more than 20,000 Bitcoin outright. That puts the firm in a small club of corporate treasuries that hold five-figure amounts of the asset.
Corporate Bitcoin accumulation has become a talking point again this year as more firms treat the coin as a reserve asset rather than a trading position. Strive's move is notable for the size of the total position and the fact that it keeps adding even after the price has moved well off its lows.
The $64,812 average for this batch is not a bargain-basement entry. It suggests the firm is comfortable paying up to build the position, which is a signal about how management views the asset's trajectory.
Strive has not said whether it plans to keep buying at this pace. The company's next monthly disclosure will show whether the August purchases were a one-off or the start of a larger accumulation phase.
