US spot Bitcoin ETFs have now recorded net inflows for two consecutive weeks, pulling in $75.7 million over the period. But analysts caution that the pace of capital inflows remains too tepid to ignite a sustained uptrend in Bitcoin prices.
The two-week streak
Data compiled by GFdaily shows the group of spot Bitcoin ETFs posted net inflows every day this week, extending a run that began the prior week. The $75.7 million total marks the longest positive stretch since early June. While any inflow streak is a welcome sign after months of erratic flows, the dollar amount is modest relative to the size of the market.
Why demand still lags
Analysts tracking the products say the inflows, while consistent, aren't large enough to absorb selling pressure or trigger a meaningful price move. One observer described the current pace as “a drip, not a deluge.” The sentiment echoes broader caution in the crypto market, where traders are waiting for a clearer catalyst — be it a Fed pivot, a regulatory breakthrough, or a major institutional allocation — before committing fresh capital at scale.
The streak puts the spotlight on whether the funds can sustain momentum into a third week. Historically, multi-week inflow runs have preceded short-term rallies, but the magnitude of those rallies depended on the size of the flows. Right now, the numbers suggest institutional buyers are nibbling, not feasting. Observers say a more sustained inflow pattern — ideally crossing the $200 million mark in a single week — would be needed to signal renewed conviction.
For now, the two-week streak offers a glimmer of optimism. But the market is waiting for a catalyst that can turn a trickle into a flood.
