US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Post Second Consecutive Weekly Inflow, Led by BlackRock's IBIT

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds logged their second straight week of net inflows, pulling in roughly $75.7 million during the July 13–17 trading period. The modest recovery follows weeks of heavier outflows and suggests institutional interest may be stabilizing — though the data is far from a clear signal.

Friday's surge

On Friday July 17 alone, net inflows hit $132.3 million. BlackRock's IBIT led the charge with $136.5 million in new money, while Fidelity's FBTC saw $4.2 million in outflows. The day's numbers flipped the weekly total positive after a slower start.

IBIT remains the heavyweight

BlackRock's IBIT continues to dominate the spot Bitcoin ETF market. Other issuers like Fidelity, Bitwise, and Ark also contribute, but IBIT's share of flows is outsized. The product's steady draw has made it the benchmark for gauging institutional appetite.

Modest recovery, but caution

The $75.7 million weekly figure is a far cry from the outflows that hit the sector earlier this year. The facts themselves note the recovery is modest and that sustained inflows are needed to confirm a durable shift. ETF inflows are a key indicator of institutional demand, but they don't create a price floor on their own — macro factors still rule.

The market will be watching this week's flow data closely. If the trend holds, it could signal a turning point for institutional adoption. If not, the outflows could resume. No one's calling a victory lap yet.
