WEEX is heading back to TOKEN2049 Singapore as an official Platinum Sponsor, the crypto exchange's third straight year at the conference and its second time at that sponsorship tier. The event runs October 7–8 at Marina Bay Sands, where organizers expect more than 25,000 attendees, 7,000 companies, 300 speakers, and 500 exhibitors from over 160 countries.
The exchange will set up on Level 3 of Marina Bay Sands, showing off three products: WEEX AI Trading, the WEEX Mini Trading House, and the WEEX Alpha Suite.
What WEEX is putting on the floor
WEEX AI is the centerpiece. It lets users check market data, pull account information, build trading strategies, and execute trades through conversational commands — no terminal navigation required. At the booth, attendees can use demo accounts to try AI Trading hands-on and compete as teams.
There's also a Trading MBTI interactive experience, which slots into the broader push to make the product approachable for people who haven't traded before.
The WEEX Alpha Suite is a separate 100+ square meter space on Level 3 built for builders, traders, and founders. It's running meetups, panels, and curated AMAs with industry figures including Carl Moon and Waqar Zaka.
WEEX COO Andrew Weiner didn't mince words about why the company keeps coming back. "TOKEN2049 has become a key meeting point for the global crypto industry, and for WEEX it's a place where we can show real products to a global audience rather than just talk about them," Weiner said. "This year we're bringing AI Trading, the Mini Trading House, and the Alpha Suite to Singapore to let users and builders get hands-on with what we've been building."
The numbers behind the booth
WEEX says it provides access to 2,700+ global assets — stocks, gold, oil, and ETFs among them — under the banner "One Account. All Markets." The company has served over 10 million users globally since 2018.
On the trust side, WEEX holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, maintains a 1:1 Proof of Reserves, and runs a 1,000 BTC Protection Fund. Those are the kinds of credentials exchanges lean on when they're trying to stand out at an event this size.
The conference footprint is substantial: 500 exhibitors across the floor means competition for attention is fierce, and a Platinum sponsorship — held for the second time — buys more than a booth. It buys placement.
Three years of showing up
This isn't a one-off appearance. Over the past three years, WEEX has participated in 31 events across 16+ countries and regions, generating more than 160,000 real-world connections. TOKEN2049 Singapore fits the pattern: a recurring stop where the exchange can put products in front of people instead of just marketing them.
The strategy seems to be consistency over novelty. Same conference, same tier, bigger product lineup each time.
What to expect on Level 3
Attendees who stop by the WEEX space can expect a mix of hands-on demos and structured programming. The AI Trading demos are open to anyone with a demo account, and the team competition format adds a layer of pressure that a solo walkthrough wouldn't.
The Alpha Suite's lineup of meetups, panels, and AMAs runs throughout the two days. Carl Moon and Waqar Zaka are among the names on the schedule.
TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026 opens October 7 at Marina Bay Sands. WEEX will be on Level 3 for both days.
