XRP is trading near $1.51, up about 1% on the day, as one of the louder bullish voices in the XRP community doubles down on a long-range price target that would rank among the largest moves in crypto history. Analyst Jake Claver reiterated a call for XRP to reach $750 by late 2026 or early 2027, repeating the forecast during a livestream on Thursday.
The number is not a typo. Getting there from current levels would require a move of more than 400 times.
The gap between $1.51 and $750
Claver's forecast leans on comments from Ripple president Monica Long, who said full-scale institutional adoption will be seen in 2026. That's the thesis: if banks and payment providers actually start settling flows on XRP rails at scale, the token's role changes from speculative asset to settlement infrastructure, and the valuation math changes with it.
It's a big if. Claver's earlier target of $100 for 2025 didn't materialize, which is worth remembering before anyone treats the $750 figure as a schedule rather than a scenario. He hasn't hedged the call, though.
What the chart actually needs to do
The near-term picture is far less dramatic than the long-range one. XRP's 24-hour range has been $1.49 to $1.53, and its seven-day range sits between $1.45 and $1.56. Support is clustered around $1.45–$1.48. Resistance sits at $1.52–$1.56.
A daily close above $1.56 would improve the breakout case. Without it, price remains vulnerable to rejection at the top of that band. If buyers do clear $1.56, traders may watch $1.59–$1.60 and then $1.63 as the next levels up. A break below support would weaken the setup, with $1.38 as a deeper level to watch.
Longer-range forecasts of $11 — a much more modest target than Claver's — still depend on a multi-stage advance and a break above $1.66, according to the same technical read.
Asia buildout continues
Away from price targets, XRP Asia has launched to support businesses, developers, and startups building across the Asia-Pacific region. That's the kind of quiet infrastructure work that institutional-adoption arguments rest on, even if it doesn't move the chart this week.
Meme corner: Maxi Doge presale
On the speculative end of the market, Maxi Doge ($MAXI) is running a presale on Ethereum. The token is an ERC-20 meme project built around a 240-lb canine character and a 1000x-leverage trading mentality. Presale price is $0.0002842, with $4.8 million raised so far.
Maxi Doge features holder-only trading competitions with leaderboard rewards, plus a Maxi Fund treasury earmarked for liquidity and partnerships. Whether that structure attracts real participation or just presale buyers is the open question — as it is with most meme launches.
What to watch
The concrete trigger for XRP right now is a daily close above $1.56. That's the level that either confirms the breakout setup or leaves price stuck in the same range it's been chopping through. Claver's $750 call will take considerably longer to test, and it's tied to an adoption timeline that Ripple's own president has put at 2026.
