What agentic transactions mean

Agentic transactions are those initiated and executed by autonomous software agents rather than by humans directly. On the XRP Ledger, these transactions are increasingly powered by AI models that use the x402 protocol — a lightweight standard that lets agents pay for compute or data access in real time. The protocol essentially allows an AI agent to request a micropayment, receive a response, and settle the cost in a single atomic step.

The ledger's native speed and low fees make it a natural fit for this kind of machine-to-machine activity. The 1 million mark suggests growing adoption among developers building autonomous systems that need to transact without human intervention.

Prediction market odds on a new all-time high

Despite the transaction volume milestone, the market remains cautious on XRP's price trajectory.
