XRP Ledger Hits Record 332,230 Wallets Holding at Least 10,000 XRP

The XRP Ledger has reached a new all-time high of 332,230 wallets holding at least 10,000 XRP, according to on-chain analytics firm Santiment. The milestone caps a steady accumulation trend that's persisted since June 2024, with mid-to-large holders adding positions even as XRP spent much of 2026 trading below previous highs.

Accumulation during market weakness

The growth in wallets with 10,000+ XRP has been nearly two years in the making. Santiment points out this signals long-term conviction among mid-to-large holders. The buildup happened while XRP's price lagged — a classic sign that buyers saw the dip as an opportunity rather than a reason to flee.

February shakeout and swift recovery

The trend wasn't clean. Between February 6 and 8, the wallet count dropped by over 4,500. That slide was linked to a crypto-wide crash on February 5 that triggered heavy liquidations. The selling pressure briefly rattled XRP's holder base, but the recovery was fast. Within weeks, the count not only regained the lost ground but pushed past the previous record to set a new high.

What the holder data tells us

A rising number of wallets in the 10,000+ XRP bucket is often read as a vote of confidence. These aren't small retail accounts — they represent significant capital. The fact that the count grew through a market crash and then bounced back stronger suggests the core holder base is more durable than in past cycles. Santiment noted the drop was temporary and the recovery sustained.

Price context and what's next

XRP was trading at $1.4554 when the data was pulled. That's far below its all-time high, but the wallet numbers imply the sell-side is thinning as larger holders keep stacking. Whether that turns into a price rally depends on broader market conditions — the accumulation signal, however, is one of the loudest the ledger has produced. The next test: if XRP makes another run toward its highs, will these holders add more or start taking profits?
