XRP's Sharpe ratio on Binance has climbed to its highest level since August 2025, settling around 0.207 as the token trades near $1.40. The improvement comes as US spot XRP ETFs pulled in $110.49 million over five days last week, the first weekly haul above $110 million since early December.
A Measure of Risk-Adjusted Gains
The Sharpe ratio, which measures returns relative to volatility, had been negative or neutral in recent months and fell sharply during the broader price decline. Now it's turned positive again, reflecting XRP's nearly 30% price gain over the past month. But the ratio's rise doesn't confirm a steady uptrend. If volatility spikes or a significant correction hits, the ratio could reverse just as quickly.
ETF Money Keeps Flowing
All five trading sessions last week ended positive, each attracting more than $10 million. Monday brought $13.82 million, Tuesday $23.87 million, Wednesday $28.14 million — the strongest single-day inflow since January 5 — Thursday $18.47 million, and Friday $26.2 million. That pushed total net inflows across the five XRP ETFs to a record $1.66 billion. Bitwise's XRP ETF leads the pack with slightly more than $600 million in cumulative inflows.
The $1.54 Hurdle
Analyst ChartNerd said XRP needs to reclaim $1.54 — a six-month resistance level and the weekly 50 EMA — to potentially move toward $1.80 or $2. He clarified he's not suggesting XRP can't push up, but under resistance, a follow-through could open an even deeper retrace than rejecting the weekly 50 EMA at $1.54. The next test is whether XRP can break through that level. If it does, the path to higher targets opens. If not, the recent gains could fade quickly.
