XRP Slips Into $1.24–$1.32 Demand Zone After Failing at $1.40

XRP has dropped into a key demand zone near $1.30, giving back part of September's recovery after it failed to hold a rebound around $1.40. The daily chart now shows the token trading inside the $1.24–$1.32 band, a range that has previously drawn buyers. The move caps a stretch of lower highs and lower lows that has kept the immediate outlook bearish.

What the daily chart shows

The price action is straightforward. XRP pushed toward $1.40, couldn't sustain the move, and has since slid back into the demand zone. That zone runs from $1.24 to $1.32, and the token is now sitting in the middle of it. The sequence of lower highs and lower lows that preceded the drop hasn't been broken, which is why the near-term bias stays to the downside.

For the picture to change, buyers would need to step in with enough force to reclaim $1.32 on a sustained basis. That wouldn't flip the overall trend, but it would be an initial sign that demand is returning. From there, the next area to watch is resistance at $1.38 to $1.42.

The downside risk below $1.24

The more pressing question is what happens if the zone fails. A continued slide below the lower boundary around $1.24 would undermine the base that formed in September. That would raise the risk of a deeper correction, with the next daily support sitting around $1.11 to $1.17.

That's a wide gap, and it explains why the $1.24 line matters more than the noise inside the zone. Holding it keeps the September recovery intact. Losing it opens the door to a test of levels the token hasn't seen since earlier in the fall.

What the 4-hour chart adds

Zooming in, XRP is trading inside a descending channel on the 4-hour chart. Recent declines have pushed price into the $1.27–$1.31 support area near the lower boundary of that channel. The channel structure reinforces the daily bearish read: each bounce has been weaker than the last.

To interrupt the immediate bearish sequence, XRP needs to reclaim $1.31 and the descending midpoint around $1.32 to $1.33. That's the first real test for buyers. Above that, resistance sits at recent swing highs of $1.34 to $1.35, followed by the channel's upper boundary near $1.39 to $1.40.

If buyers can't defend $1.27, the token could revisit earlier wick lows around $1.25. That would put the lower half of the daily demand zone under pressure and bring $1.24 back into focus.

Levels to watch into the weekend

The setup now comes down to two prices. On the upside, $1.32 is the line that separates a pause from a genuine shift in demand. On the downside, $1.24 is the floor that keeps the September base alive. Everything between those levels is noise until one side gives way.

XRP is trading near $1.30 as of the latest chart read, with the 4-hour channel still pointing lower. The next daily close will tell whether the demand zone is absorbing selling or simply delaying the next leg down.
