Zerocap, an Australian digital asset firm and institutional liquidity provider, has integrated Integral Digital to expand its crypto and FX trading capabilities. The integration gives Zerocap a single point of connectivity to a broad network of liquidity providers across digital assets and fiat currency markets, with real-time cross-currency pricing. It's a step that could help the Melbourne-based firm serve clients trading into local currencies across the Asia-Pacific region.
Synthetic pairs and fiat rails
Integral's pricing engine creates synthetic pairs, enabling more accurate real-time cross-currency pricing for Zerocap. The setup supports fiat currency conversion with enhanced execution and frictionless access to liquidity — a useful feature as digital asset trading expands across APAC and into local currencies. Instead of juggling multiple venues, Zerocap gets a single pipe to a deep pool of both crypto and traditional money markets.
Customised pools and back-office
Integral worked with Zerocap to create customised liquidity pools and eased integration with back-office providers like Elysium. That means the firm doesn't have to bolt on extra middleware to handle settlement or reporting. The platform consolidates portfolio exposure, margin details, and risk analytics in a single view, and includes automated risk controls for institutional workflows. For a liquidity provider, that's the difference between watching positions across a dozen screens and seeing everything at once.
What the executives said
Jon de Wet, CIO at Zerocap, said the platform gives unified access to deep digital asset and fiat liquidity, real-time cross-currency pricing, and automated risk controls. Harpal Sandhu, CEO at Integral, said Zerocap's adoption highlights growing demand for proven trading technology among institutions in crypto markets. Both men framed the deal as a practical upgrade rather than a flashy partnership.
The companies
Integral is a currency technology provider founded in 1993, with offices in Palo Alto, New York, London, Tokyo, Singapore, and Bengaluru. Zerocap was founded in Melbourne in 2017 and is described as Australia's premier digital asset firm. The integration is part of Zerocap's broader push to serve institutional clients across the region, and it's a sign that crypto firms are increasingly looking for the same kind of robust infrastructure that traditional FX desks have relied on for decades.
