Zoomex Launches Stock Trading for Traders Stuck in Range-Bound Crypto Market

Crypto exchange Zoomex has rolled out ZoomexStocks, a product that gives traders exposure to major stocks and indices while staying inside the crypto platform. The launch comes as Bitcoin and other digital assets drift through a narrow trading range this year, pushing traders to hunt for returns elsewhere.

Why now

Zoomex Chief Marketing Officer Fernando Lillo Aranda said the product reflects what traders are actually doing in a slower, range-bound market. They're looking for more opportunities to rotate capital, he noted. The timing isn't surprising — when crypto stops moving, traders start looking over the fence.

Reliability, not just speed

Aranda stressed that platform reliability during market stress matters more than raw speed. He pointed to the October 2023 crash, when some exchanges had trouble matching orders. Zoomex didn't. He also warned that order book depth can be misleading — the real test is whether that liquidity is actually executable when the market moves. It's a frank admission in an industry that often brags about tick volumes.

One platform to rule them all

ZoomexStocks isn't a standalone experiment. Aranda described it as part of a broader push to turn Zoomex into an all-in-one trading hub — crypto, traditional markets, and new tools like AI-driven data analysis. The idea is to keep traders inside the ecosystem rather than sending them to Robinhood or a brokerage.

Diversification advice for 2026

Aranda advised traders to spread their bets. He suggested a split of 30% in different assets, including TradFi, for 2026. That's a notable call from a crypto exchange executive — a sign that even the people running these platforms see value in not going all-in on digital assets.

Zoomex is betting that crypto-native traders want a single login for stocks and tokens. The real test will come when crypto volatility returns and traders have to decide whether to stay or jump back into pure crypto plays.
