1win Launches Global Crypto Tournaments With Prize Pools Up to 200,000 USDT

1win has launched a global crypto tournament system that will run weekly, monthly, and seasonal competitions, with prize pools reaching as high as 200,000 USDT. The platform, which has operated since 2016 across Asia, Latin America, and Africa, says the tournaments are designed to reward consistent betting activity — not luck. The announcement comes months after 1win revealed plans to issue its own digital asset, the 1win Token.

Three tournament formats

Players can enter three tiers. Crypto Week starts every Friday and offers up to 10,000 USDT. Crypto Month, which goes up to 50,000 USDT, includes slots, plinko, and crash mechanics. The biggest tier, Crypto Season, caps out at 200,000 USDT and is meant for long-term gameplay. Leaderboard rankings are based on total betting activity during each period.

To participate, users have to deposit in cryptocurrency. That's a deliberate choice — it keeps the payout in crypto and avoids fiat conversion overheads. 1win hasn't said which cryptocurrencies are accepted, but the setup suggests it wants to push its own token once that launches.

Global reach with restrictions

The tournaments are available worldwide except for users in the United States, the European Union, the UAE, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria. That's a notable list — it excludes the two biggest crypto markets (U.S. and EU) plus a few other jurisdictions. The restrictions likely reflect regulatory caution. 1win didn't comment on whether it plans to expand access later.

Ambassadors and token plans

1win has been building a public-facing brand. Its ambassadors include actor Johnny Sins, martial artist Jon Jones, Olympic champion Gable Steveson, and rapper Tyga, who joined this year. The tournament system seems aimed at both retaining existing users and attracting new ones through these high-profile names.

The bigger picture: 1win announced its intention to launch a native token earlier in 2026, but hasn't set a date. The tournament structure — with crypto-only deposits and tiered rewards — could serve as a testing ground for token integration. No timeline has been given for the token launch, but the tournament system is live now.
