MapleStory Universe Launches AI Builder Hub MSU Space, Kicks Off $60K Game Jam

MapleStory Universe launched MSU Space this week, an AI-powered builder hub developed with Verse8. The move shifts the platform from a single-game environment to a programmable ecosystem where community creators can build, distribute, and monetize using MapleStory IP. It also kicked off the MapleStory Vibe Camp game jam with a $60,000 NXPC prize pool.

The $60,000 Game Jam

Builders worldwide can compete in the MapleStory Vibe Camp through June 29. The contest requires participants to use official MSU resources. Winners will get prizes in NXPC tokens. The jam started June 8 as part of the MSU 2.0 expansion.

One Year of On-Chain Growth

MSU passed 150 million cumulative on-chain transactions since launch. The platform generated about 49.1 million NXPC in ecosystem revenue during its first year. That revenue totaled roughly $31 million. The numbers show solid early adoption for a Web3 gaming project.

AI Tools for Instant Creation

MSU Space gives creators AI-assisted tools and natural language prompts. They get access to official MapleStory assets including characters and lore. Builders can start projects without deep technical skills. Nexpace and Verse8 built the hub to lower entry barriers.

What the Shift Actually Means

MSU 2.0 turns the platform into a creator ecosystem. It moves beyond the original game structure. Anyone can now build new experiences using the IP. They can distribute and monetize their work. This changes how players interact with MapleStory.

The Vibe Camp ends June 29. Winners will be announced in early July.
