As quantum computing advances, the crypto industry's $2.8T market cap faces an existential threat if encryption is broken. This project demonstrates that lightweight, post-quantum E2EE is feasible, potentially accelerating the development of quantum-resistant blockchains and wallets. It also highlights the growing intersection of privacy tech and blockchain, a sector that could see increased VC interest.

A post-quantum end-to-end encrypted messenger core written in Rust was announced, demonstrating 10,000 connections on 124MB RAM.
